In 1987 Bastedalen's Manor opened with the idea of being the small, personal and familiar hotel. Nowadays the hotel is converted into a hostel, but our philosophy remains the same. With the Vättern archipelago and the beautiful nature of Närke as a backdrop, we can offer our guests a peace and quiet and an environment that is hard to find.

On the farm there are five different houses to stay in. Are you interested in staying in an apartment or in a room with a shared kitchen? What both have in common is that you wake up surrounded by nature in the Vättern archipelago.

With us you have access to a kitchen, whether you choose to stay in an apartment or in a room. As we are a hostel, cleaning or bed linen is not included but can be purchased on request or on arrival.
