The canal tour to Stegeborg with M/S Athene

Product description

From the canal quay in Söderköping, you can take a five-hour trip with M/S Athene to Stegeborg. We pass through the Tegelbrukets lock and the Mem lock and then glide across Slätbaken, the beginning of the archipelago. Once we reach the narrow strait of the bay, we dock at the islet that previously blocked the entrance to Söderköping. We stop at Stegeborg harbour for an hour. Go for a guided tour of the castle ruins, a walk through the awe-inspiring oak landscapes or enjoy an ice cream or beer down by the harbour. At 14.15 we depart to travel back to the canal and Söderköping. 

On board M/S Athene you can enjoy a summer lunch and refreshing drinks as you are guided through the landscapes.

• Cold smoked salmon with Sandefjordsmør sauce, new potatoes and primroses. A beverage for the meal, as well as coffee and pastries. 
• Athene's double-marinated slices of beef with herb fraiche, new potatoes and crispy sugar snap peas. A beverage for the meal, as well as coffee and pastries. 
• For kids: Pancakes with jam and cream. Meal drink included.

Parking

For parking in Söderköping, we recommend Stinsen/Resecentrum on Margaretagatan, about 400 meters from Kanalhamnen.

Other information

Dogs are allowed on board and the party can sit outside on the sun deck or in the aft lounge. Please let us know when you board, so that the crew can set up for you where you want to sit.

Coffee and cookies kan be bought on board the boat.
