Guest harbour in the summer gem Söderköping
Söderköping's guest harbour, Kanalhamnen, is one of the Göta Canal's most popular harbours. In summer, boating guests and other visitors meet here at the lock, and the quay is teeming with life.

Both boating guests and land visitors flock to Söderköping during the summer months, and it can sometimes get crowded in the popular canal harbour. There are 42 guest harbour berths and 38 6A electrical outlets, in the upper harbour and reserved berths for charter and passenger boats below the lock.
Things to see and do by the harbour
The restaurant and café scene in Söderköping grows every year, and the eateries intermingle with charming summer shops. Here you will find, among other things, a shop for boat accessories and Smultronstället with Sweden's largest selection of ice cream.
By the lock there is also a playground, well liked by the harbour's younger visitors.
The passenger boats M/S Göta Lejon and M/S Athene both have their home port in Söderköping and make day and evening trips on the canal.
